What do I need to know about fitting / installation?
We offer 2 types of LVT: “dry back” (also known as glue down LVT) or “click system” (planks or tiles that click together as a floating floor).
For both types, the floor needs to be completely flat and level prior to installation (picture a sheet of glass) which means that some sub-floor preparation may be required before installing your new LVT floor.
Dry back: this LVT type needs to be fully glued down to the sub-floor.
Click system: has a flexible click joint that’s fitted on to an underlay, which is important to ensure the floor is robust and level once installed. This system does not require any glue or adhesive.
